    Bill Summary

    This bill makes it an offense for a person to apply for employment with the intent to cause economic damage to the employer by means of unauthorized recording of video or audio while on the premises of the employer and releasing such recordings to a third party. All recordings taken in violation of this bill will be confiscated and, after their use as evidence, destroyed. A first violation of the above offense is a Class B misdemeanor, and a second or subsequent violation is a Class A misdemeanor.
