    AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill and states the legislative intent to name bridge id number 26SR0500007 on Lynchburg Highway, where it crosses Dry Creek in Franklin County, to honor the memory of D. Alex Stephens, a soldier who died in the line of duty while serving in Afghanistan.

    AMENDMENT #2 clarifies that a bridge will be named in memory of Sergeant David Alex Stephens.
