    ON APRIL 21, 2011, THE SENATE ADOPTED AMENDMENT #1 AND PASSED SENATE BILL 1665, AS AMENDED.

    AMENDMENT #1 rewrites this bill. Under this amendment, all 911 calls and transmissions of such calls received and all tapes containing records of such calls will be a public record, except that any broadcast or republication of such calls is prohibited without the written consent of the caller whose voice is recorded or such caller's designated representative or legal guardian, or in compliance with a subpoena or an order of a court of record.
