    Bill Summary

    This bill creates an exception to the present law requirement that asphalt produced in a facility operated by any local government must be used exclusively for paving of public streets, roads or highways under the discretion and control of that unit of local government. This bill authorizes asphalt produced by Hardeman County to be used for paving and repairing public streets, roads, highways, and parking areas under the discretion and control of Hardeman County or any local governmental entity located within Hardeman County.
